      Mumbai- Tata Motors Ltd., an Indian commercial vehicle manufacturers, continues its commitment to sustainable mobility with the launch of its third Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF), in Surat, Gujarat. Named ‘Re.Wi.Re–Recycle with Respect’, Mr. PB Balaji, CFO of Tata Motors, inaugurated an advanced facility with eco-friendly processes capable of safely disassembling 15,000 end-of-life vehicles annually. The RVSFis developed and operated by partner Shree Ambica Auto, it scrapes vehicles of all brands. This facility follows the success of similar ones in Jaipur and Bhubaneshwar, marking a milestone in Tata Motors' sustainability efforts.

      Mr. PB Balaji, Group Chief Financial Officer, Tata Motors, said, Our vision and activities are guided by sustainability, which acts as both our compass and our driving force. I am thrilled to be present at the opening of the Re.Wi.Re. facility in Surat today as we advance significantly on a transformative path toward ethical end-of-life vehicle scrapping. We strive to minimize trash for a better future with our internationally acclaimed recycling techniques. We are certain that these decentralized facilities will be advantageous to our clients, encourage economic development, create job opportunities, and meet the demand for environmentally friendly vehicle scrapping.

      A cutting-edge facility, Re.Wi.Re. focuses on using ecologically responsible methods while disassembling end-of-life passenger and commercial Vehicles from all brands. The fully digitalized plant has dedicated cell- and line-type dismantling for passenger and commercial vehicles, respectively, and all of its activities are smooth and paperless. Additionally, special stations are available for the secure removal of various parts, such as tires, batteries, fuel, oils, liquids, and gases. Each vehicle goes through an exhaustive documentation and disassembly process that is especially created to satisfy the needs of passenger and commercial vehicles. The procedure of disassembling provides maximum attention to detail, ensuring the secure disposal of every component. The Re.Wi.Re. facility is an innovative step in promoting sustainable practices in the automotive industry.
