Tata Motors reports a drop in sales for the CV segment

Mumbai- Tata Motors Limited., reported its sales for the month of July 2023, where sales in the domestic & international market for month stood at 80,633 vehicles, compared to 81,790 units during July 2022 with Total CV Sales of 32,944 units, a decline in commercial vehicle sales. Total CV sales fell by 4 compared to 34,154 units in July 2022.

The decline was led by a drop in sales of HCV Trucks, which fell by 14% to 8,502 units. Sales of ILMCV Trucks also declined by 11% to 4,899 units.

Passenger Carriers sales increased by 24% to 4,292 units, while SCV cargo and pickup sales fell by 10% to 13,523 units. CV Domestic sales fell by 1% to 31,216 units, while CV IB sales fell by 36% to 1,728 units.

Domestic sale of MH&ICV in July 2023, including trucks and buses, stood at 13,291 units, compared to 12,012 units in July 2022.

Total sales for MH&ICV Domestic & International Business in July 2023, including trucks and buses, stood at 13,830 units compared to 12,974 units in July 2022.
