Pune- VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 6289 units in May 2023 as compared to 5637 units in May 2022 showing a growth of 11.6%. This includes 6076 units of Eicher brand and 213 units of Volvo brand.

Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6076 units in May 2023 as compared to 5504 units in May 2022 representing a growth of 10.4%.

In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5826 units in May 2023 as compared to 5033 units in May 2022, representing a growth of 15.8%.

On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 250 units in May 2023 as compared to 471 units in May 2022, representing a decline of 46.9%

Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 213 units in May 2023 as compared to 133 units in May 2022, representing a growth of 60.2%.

When compared to the previous month sales, VECV has a 5% drop with respect to the Eicher brand but a 27% increase in the Volvo segment. Overall the sales has dipped about 4% corresponding to the previous year.
