Vogelsang Launches Improved PreMix Solid Matter Feeder at EnergyDecentral

Vogelsang unveils new PreMix feeders at EnergyDecentral 2024, featuring enhanced performance, longer service life, reduced costs, and lower energy consumption.

Essen (Oldenburg), Germany - Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG., a highly-engineered equipment producer, is showcasing the new generation of PreMix solid matter feeders at EnergyDecentral (November 12-15, 2024) in Hanover, Germany, the leading trade fair for decentralized energy supply. Highlighted at the Vogelsang stand in Hall 25, Stand G17, are two improved PreMix models: the PreMix IC (Intelligent Control), a complete solution for OEMs, and the PreMix ICC (Intelligent Control Comfort), a fully pre-assembled system for biogas plant operators. Both variants offer enhanced performance, longer service life, reduced operating costs, and lower energy consumption.

The HiCone conical progressive cavity pump is a highlight of Vogelsang’s trade fair display, featured both as a standalone solution and within the updated PreMix liquid feeding system. Its conical rotor and stator design allow for precise adjustment, compensating for wear-induced gaps, eliminating costly replacements, and significantly extending the pump's service life.

Vogelsang's upgraded PreMix liquid feeding system features the HiCone conical progressive cavity pump and the RotaCut RCX wet cutter with AutoCutControl (ACC). This system automatically adjusts blade contact pressure from the control room, enhancing cutting performance, reducing power consumption and wear, doubling the service life, and extending maintenance intervals. The PreMix system efficiently separates and discharges heavy materials, mashes solid materials into a suspension, cuts fibrous components, and conveys the prepared suspension into fermenters.
