Czechia, Europe - Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd., an agricultural machinery manufacturer has officially completed its acquisition of TEDOM a.s., a combustion engines manufacturer. As of 1st November 2024, Yanmar is the official owner of TEDOM, as registered in the Czech Commercial Register. The agreement with TEDOM’s former owner, Jet Investment, was finalized with regulatory approvals completed.

TEDOM has been a global leader in cogeneration systems. The company has expanded into sustainable energy solutions and decentralized power sources. TEDOM’s acquisition of Italy’s Intergen and record sales of cogeneration units have helped it become the fastest-growing supplier by customer numbers.

Mr. Peter Aarsen, CEO of Yanmar Energy Systems International, said, "TEDOM has an excellent reputation both in Europe and globally. Its production, development, and service standards are high, and we intend to continue building on this expertise. From day one, TEDOM will be a valuable part of the energy segment of our holding.”

Mr. Ladislav Zeman, CEO of TEDOM, said, "Operationally and strategically, it’s business as usual for TEDOM, and we’re continuing to see strong growth in both the industrial and energy sectors. We’re solidifying our position as a global leader in cogeneration and as a provider of energy services-qualities that I believe attracted Yanmar’s interest.”

With the acquisition complete, TEDOM becomes part of the Yanmar Group. Yanmar Energy System aims to capitalize on TEDOM's strengths to expand into new European markets, improve product development efficiency, and create synergies across manufacturing, procurement, sales, and service channels.
