ZETOR debuts the SERIES 6 at AGROmashEXPO in Hungary, showcasing the flagship tractor prototype.

Hungary, Europe - ZETOR Tractors a.s., a tractor manufacturing company, debuts the SERIES 6 Tractors at AGROmashEXPO in Hungary, presenting the prototype of flagship tractor. Along with the SERIES 6, also highlights the COMPAX model featuring a new cabin, the FORTERRA HSX 140, and the MAJOR 80.
Mr. Robert Harman, CEO of ZETOR TRACTORS a.s., said, “The SERIES 6 will become ZETOR’s new flagship, setting a new direction for the development and assembly of our future products. With a power range from 131 to 171 HP, the SERIES 6 will replace the current FORTERRA. I can already confirm that work and testing are underway on the SERIES 5, which will match the PROXIMA model line in performance, the MAJOR series, as well as a completely new model with a power output above 200 HP.”
The SERIES 6 tractors are powered by Deutz 4.1 engines, offering 171 HP at 1900 rpm and meeting Stage V emissions. They feature a 120 l/min hydraulic system, 7.2-ton rear hitch, and 3.5-ton front hitch. The cabin includes hydraulic suspension, air conditioning, a 24-inch touchscreen, and a pressurized design for sprayers.
The ZF TPT 16 POWERSHIFT transmission offers smooth shifting with 54 forward and 27 reverse speeds, reaching 40 km/h. It features manual main gear shifting, electrohydraulic control for the multiplier and reverser, and a robust design increasing rear axle load to 8.5 tons. The Smart Braking system enables starting and stopping with just the brake pedal.
The ZETOR COMPAX CL 26 PLUS, with a new cabin design, offers improved comfort and safety for compact farm work (24 HP). The MAJOR CL 80, with a 75 HP engine and 1,800 kg rear hitch, is ideal for small to medium farms. The FORTERRA HSX 140, with a 136.2 HP engine and 8,600 kg rear hitch, is designed for both crop and livestock operations, featuring a comfortable cabin and fuel-efficient ECO transmission.
