      Friedrichshafen, Germany – ZF Commercial Vehicles Solutions (CVS)., has been recognized for its environmental commitment earns accolades at the Springer Nature Group & Arthur D. Little Sustainability Award in Automotive 2024. The CeTrax 2 dual electric central drive is recognition for its role in commercial electric mobility, while ZF's Bielefeld plant wins for innovative remanufacturing. These awards recognize sustainability efforts in mobility, jointly organized by Springer Nature Group and Arthur D. Little. 

      Mr. Winfried Gründler, Senior Vice President for Driveline Technology at ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Solutions division, said “The awards underline our firm commitment to environmental sustainability." "By integrating innovative sustainable practices into our industrial processes, whether in the remanufacturing of used components, or the development of new e-mobility solutions, we show how environmental responsibility combined with technological innovation can make substantial contributions towards resource conservation and energy efficiency.” 

      ZF's Bielefeld plant "cradle-to-cradle" remanufacturing, specializing in powertrain modules. They recondition transmission clutches and torque converters to be reused, saving up to 90% of parts and energy. This conserves resources, cuts energy needs, and reduces CO2 emissions. 

      Introducing CeTrax 2 dual Electric Drive by ZF, revolutionizing heavy-duty mobility. It fits seamlessly into conventional vehicle designs, enabling hybrid platforms. With two 800V SiC inverters, it delivers 380 kW continuous power and 24,700 Nm peak torque for up to 44-ton vehicles. Its 3-speed transmission ensures efficiency and smooth, silent operation.
