Kanagawa, Japan- Isuzu Motors Limited., an automotive manufacture, has begun producing the S&E Series for international markets at UD Trucks' Thai production base. As an Isuzu Group company, UD Trucks will distribute the S&E Series primarily across ASEAN, the Middle East, and Latin America, replacing the C&E Series. Since last year, Isuzu and UD Trucks have expanded their product collaboration and will continue to enhance synergies.

The heavy-duty S&E Series, with a GVW of 25 to 41 tons and a GCW of 36 to 80 tons, is available in both rigid and tractor unit variations. It includes a GCW of over 60 tons and models with hub reduction for better drivability on rough roads. The Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) models are now available in all market destinations. The S&E Series maintains high-quality standards, ensuring top performance for loyal C&E Series customers.

As part of the "ISUZU Transformation - Growth to 2030 (IX)" plan announced in April, Isuzu Group will develop a common platform for heavy-duty trucks by FY2029 using Volvo Group technology. The group aims for global sales of over 450,000 commercial vehicles by FY2031, with Isuzu and UD Trucks targeting 23,000 units in Japan and 11,000 units internationally. Leveraging its technology, development capabilities, global sales and after-sales network, and brand presence, Isuzu Group aims to become a "commercial mobility solutions company" addressing societal challenges.
