KRONE Delivers New Box Liners to Bartelina Haulage

Werlte, Germany- Fahrzeugwerk Bernard Krone GmbH & Co. KG., has further strengthened its presence in the UK container haulage sector with the delivery of two new Box Liner FS10 sliding skeletal container carriers to Bartelina Haulage Limited.

The latest delivery increases Bartelina Haulage’s KRONE trailer fleet to six units and supports the company’s ongoing expansion in container transport operations across the UK. The investment provides the flexibility and reliability required to handle a wide range of customer requirements.

Based in Peterborough, Bartelina Haulage is a family-owned business operated by husband-and-wife team Elina Zbaczyniak and Bartosz Zbaczyniak. The company runs a fleet of six trucks and six trailers, providing container haulage services across the UK, with a strong focus on traffic through the ports of Felixstowe and London Gateway.

Speaking about the decision to invest in KRONE equipment, Elina said the company needed trailers that could support its growth while offering the flexibility required for different container haulage operations. She noted that the KRONE Box Liners have proved to be a strong fit for the company’s requirements.

The KRONE Box Liner FS10 trailers feature a sliding and extendable chassis design, enabling Bartelina Haulage to transport container sizes ranging from 20ft to 45ft. This versatility helps improve fleet utilisation and allows the company to respond more efficiently to varying customer demands.

Elina added that the adaptability of the trailers is a major advantage, as the ability to quickly adjust to different container sizes helps maximise operational efficiency.

Durability and build quality were also key factors behind the investment. According to Elina, KRONE trailers offer strong quality, with a heavier and more durable chassis compared with many other trailers on the market, while also proving reliable in daily operations.

Built with robust steel construction, welded cross members and double longitudinal beams, the trailers are designed to meet the demands of intensive container haulage work. They also come with KRONE’s 10-year warranty against rust penetration, supporting long-term reliability and helping to reduce whole-life operating costs.

With the latest fleet addition, Bartelina Haulage continues to expand its container haulage operations and strengthen its service offering for customers across the UK logistics sector.
