Scania appoints a new CFO and member of its Executive Board

Scania has appointed Do Young Kim as CFO and Executive Board member, effective 1 February 2025. He joins from International, with extensive experience in TRATON Group and previous automotive roles.

Sweden, Germany- Scania AB., has appointed Mr. Do Young Kim as its new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Board member, effective 1 February 2025. Currently CFO for International, Do Young brings extensive industry expertise, including leadership roles in TRATON Group’s IPO and acquisition of International, and heading TRATON’s treasury department. He will report to CEO Christian Levin.

Mr. Christian Levin, President and CEO of Scania and TRATON Group, said, “I’m delighted to welcome Do Young to Scania as our new CFO. Prior to his roles at TRATON, Do Young was CFO for several joint ventures in the automotive industry, including Beijing Benz Automotive, Fujian Benz Automotive and Mercedes-Benz Korea. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Yonsei University in South Korea.
